Professor Zhu has long focused on the prevention and control of drug-resistant bacteria<\/strong>, phage therapy<\/strong>, and microbial interaction mechanisms<\/strong>, and is actively exploring the use of artificial intelligence<\/strong> and synthetic biology<\/strong> to engineer bacteriophages for treating resistant infections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this interview, Professor Zhu provides in-depth insights into the challenges of researching and controlling \u201csuperbugs,\u201d shares his team\u2019s clinical experience using phage therapy in more than 200 complex infection cases<\/strong>, and analyzes the clinical role and development potential of phages. He also introduces cutting-edge work on customized phage design using AI and synthetic biology<\/strong>, discussing both the advantages and challenges of this approach in improving efficacy and precision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
